I cannot believe we have thrown away a golden chance to go 4th and 2pts behind Chelsea. Yes, I am happy we managed to fight back and get the point, but the issue is, how were we down 3-1 to Aston Villa at home? Defending was absolutely woeful, Benteke made a mockery of our defence, especially Heitinga. Embarrassing stuff from Everton, needed the 3pts today. As for Villa, well, 23 fouls says a lot, and it could've been a lot higher, seemed their defensive game plan was to find a Blue shirt, grab it and don't let go of it, and bizarrely enough, the ref allowed it!!! Have to go to Old Trafford next week and get a result. Disastrous couple of days for Everton, these past few days starting with deadline day and this home game really could've been a springboard for the rest of the season. Oh well, tied with Spurs with 4th, hopefully they falter away at West Brom.

Nothing personal, but I was desperately hoping to see Villa hold on for the 3 pts. Obviously, Im sure you will be hoping WBA can do the same with us..

no good for the heart that folks. good luck for the rest of the season, hope you get 4th.
The Fear
As small as our squad is, please oh please don't play that starting combination again Mr Moyes!!! To shove (on current form) one of the best centre backs in the Prem, to right back is plain stupid! When Oviedo came on he solved the right-back problem. As regards to Heitinga at centre-back it's a big no-no! He is way off form and needs to really work harder; so give him a rest - and maybe use Duffy in the event of Distin or Jags being injured. We have drawn half of our games(almost) after the best football we have played in years, which is criminal as we could have been sitting in at least second place now - and that's no exaggeration!
