Were we lucky with the offside call at the end of the game, HELL YES, no doubt about it, the rat was onside, we dodged a bullet. However, how that rat was on the pitch, is beyond me, especially given the history of red cards in this fixture alone, especially to Everton players. Suarez's tackle to injure Mirallas should have been a yellow, then his stamp on Distin's ankle, how is that not a red? That could have resulted in a broken ankle for Distin, that is dangerous play and should have been a red. Anyway, focussing on the game, joke we gave them a 2 goal head start, the defending for the 2nd goal, was laughable, 2 players completely unmarked around the 6yd box, defending has been a real problem for us this season, needs to be fixed if we want to challenge for top 4. After going down, we were the better team and thought, if anyone we were going to get the 3pts, we were too strong for them, so Liverpool fans might call it over physical, but the stats show, more possession, more passes attempted and completed and more passes completed in the attacking third, so we clearly were passing it around (with some long ball yes, but you need to exploit the opposition weakness at times). Very impressed by Mirallas, outstanding 1st half, shame Suarez had to cripple him out of the game, had he played in the ins half, we would have won I felt, he was by far our best player in the 1st half and most influential, fingers crossed it isn't a serious injury because he will be vital to us in this season.
