Bolasie Stronger But Still A While Before A Comeback

Yannick Bolasie is continuing to make progress in his bid to return to Everton action, a video of him training at Finch Farm that was posted on Instagram recently proved as much, and is feeling stronger.

However, the winger, who is happy with his progress nevertheless, knows there's 'still a while' to go until he's up to full fitness.

Bolasie suffered his serious knee injury just 16 games into his Blues career - after his £25m arrival from Crystal Palace - and has been sidelined by his cruciate knee ligament injury since, being left on the sidelines since last December.

'I'm just happy to be back out there and moving about the way I can. I'm getting stronger by the day and I'm looking forward to coming back,' he told the Official Website.

Adding: 'There's still a while to go but I'm happy with where I'm at. At this stage, I couldn't ask to be in a better place and everything just seems like it's clicking into place. I've got time to practice some things that I need to, so I'm happy.'

When the DR Congo international does return he's looking to repay the faith the fans have shown him since his arrival and during the injury enforced absence Bolasie, 28, has faced.

Once this return does come he's also confident he'll prove to be an even better footballer than the one he was at Selhurst Park.

'The fans have always been on my side since I've been injured. Now I'm looking forward to coming back and showing them what I really can do. I believe they've seen a side of me at Crystal Palace and I'm sure I can provide that side but even better.'
