Top Toffee At MFK Ruzomberok

Top Toffee At MFK Ruzomberok

Everton take on Stoke in the Premier League, for the season opener, next up, we'll be onto that soon enough but before we move on fully from the last game we round up the MotM from MFK Ruzomberok.

That game, which saw a 1-0 victory secured on the night, thanks to substitute Dominic Calvert-Lewin, was enough for Everton to win 2-0 on aggregate and advance to the Europa League play-off stage, saw Tom Davies voted as the Blues' top performer as they pulled in 33% of the votes from the poll we ran, finishing slightly ahead of the match winner, Calvert-Lewin grabbed 22%

What did the poll ask?
EL - MFK Ruzomberok MotM

How you voted
Davies 33%
Sub - Calvert-Lewin 22%
Baines 11%
Keane 11%
Pickford 8%

Sub - Barry 5%
Sub - Mirallas 0%

Would you agree or disagree?

Prior to the above poll we ran another that asked the question about fellow midfielder, and academy graduate, Kieran Dowell.

He was allowed to leave Goodison Park to join Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan, which was surprising in some ways as the England U20 World Cup winner looked set for a chance in Everton's first team - then again week-in-week-out involvement with Forest isn't exactly a bad thing for Dowell, is it?

Still, despite a feeling he was first team ready, most felt the potential Blues start would benefit more from this regular first team football at the City Ground.

What did the poll ask?
Was it right to loan out Dowell?

How you voted
Yes, he'll benefit from a year at Forest 63%
No, he was ready for the Everton first team 37%

Next, as said, it'll be the game against Stoke at Goodison, which will be given the full preview treatment and whatnot in due course. In the meantime the latest win/lose/draw poll is awaiting your vote so do this to your right.

What is this poll asking?
Everton v Stoke City

How you can vote
Everton win
Stoke win
