Everton Target Wants Out?

Ronald Koeman's hopes of securing Michael Keane from Burnley might have improved? Well, if Everton can see off reported rival interest from Tottenham, Liverpool and potentially even Manchester United?

Keane has seen his stock rise this season, which led to his winning of his first England caps and reported on-going interest from Koeman - himself a classy defender in his day so he'll know a good one when he sees one - in bringing the 24 year old to Goodison Park.

It's been claimed the central defender has decided he's ready to leave Burnley with our Premier League rivals accepting they will probably have to sell as Keane's got a little over a year left on his present deal - our friends from Vital Burnley tell us.

Michael Keane has made the decision that he WILL leave Burnley at the end of the season? Well, according to Sky Sports anyway.

Former Manchester United youngster Keane, interesting Leicester last summer, will now be fought over by Everton, Tottenham and Liverpool with the England defender deciding it's time to leave Burnley?

Sky sources say links to a potential Old Trafford return, Keane could again show firsthand what Man United have been missing since letting him leave when they visit Turf Moor on Sunday, are wide of the mark as 'no discussions have taken place between United and the player's representatives.'

Keane, 24, will move into the final 12 months of his Burnley contract this summer - as he's apparently not looking to sign an extended deal, deciding to take his leave of the club, the Clarets are going to have to cash in this summer.

Everton, Tottenham and Liverpool are seen as the clubs most likely to battle for the defender as far as Sky Sports is concerned.

Ok, so Keane has apparently become available? But at what cost and how much becomes too much? Especially if he could be subjected to a bidding war?

If Keane isn't going to sign a new contract with Burnley, we know that feeling don't we, his club knows the pressure will grow somewhat to sell the defender. Definitely as they'll not want to run the risk of losing him on a free transfer in the summer of 2018.
