We'll Know More On Monday - Koeman

Manager Ronald Koeman gave a brief update on the injury sustained by Morgan Schneiderlin in the weekend's victory over Hull City.

Hosting the side at Goodison Park for the clash, Everton eventually took a four nil victory with goals coming from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Enner Valencia and a Romelu Lukaku stoppage time brace, but Koeman was fearful that Schneiderlin may now miss 'several weeks' following the calf complaint he picked up early on in the game.

Having been forced off with the injury on the 30 minute mark and the Frenchman being replaced by Gareth Barry, Koeman confirmed that the medical staff would know more by Monday evening as the player was set for scans on Sunday afternoon.

Speaking briefly to evertonfc.com as he met with the media following the game, the gaffer explained.

'We need to make a scan tomorrow, it`s his calf. I`m a little bit worried he might be out for several weeks but we need to wait until tomorrow.'

Schneiderlin himself tweeted following the game.
