Fulham v Everton - Preview

David Moyes has dropped a huge hint that he will revert back to the 4-4-2 formation for the clash with Chris Coleman's side. Moyes has signalled his intent to show a more attacking edge to Everton's repertoire.

This means the Scot is likely to pair both Andrew Johnson and James Beattie in attack, who fills the midfield and defence on the other hand will depend entirely on who recovers in time for the midday clash after several first team members have been laid low with a virus which had swept through Bellefield.

Moyes also has similar problems with his defence, especially considering Nuno Valente is the only left back anywhere near full fitness. The Portuguese international may well recover from a groin injury in time, but Everton still have Patrick Boyle and Gary Naysmith as long term absentees.

Joleon Lescott could be asked to continue his impressive form at left back whereas Joseph Yobo and Alan Stubbs could continue after a super game against Arsenal a week ago.

Predicted Lineup:

GK Tim Howard
RB Phil Neville
LB Joleon Lescott
CB Joseph Yobo
CB Alan Stubbs
RM Simon Davies
LM Mikel Arteta
CM Lee Carsley
CM Tim Cahill
ST Andrew Johnson
ST James Beattie

Subs:

Turner
McFadden
Osman
Valente
Anichebe

Predicted Score:

Fulham 1-2 Everton
McBride Johnson x 2

Come on you Toffees
captainmiffymoo
I think that the game will finish a 1-1 draw. Both teams have injury problems, but still have got good starting line-ups.

I see your fans still like to throw things at people.

Well said Baldyyid!! I see that Moyes did not feel that it was necessary to condone his fans for the coin throwing incident! Instead thought it more appropriate to whinge on and give excuses as to why they lost.
Cravens
well at least Everton Fc have posted an article condemning the cowardly coin thrower.
Cravens
I don't see how David Moyes or indeed Everton FC should be lambasted for the stupidy of an individual.
