Everton to conclude signing imminently

It would appear that Everton have won the chase for Ferencvaros midfielder Muhamed Besic.

Whilst Spanish side Sevilla had looked set to beat Everton to the signing of Besic, Roberto Martinez appears to have got his man.

Besic had impressed a number of clubs across Europe during the World Cup in Brazil playing for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Whilst untested in the Hungarian league for Ferencvaros, quite a few clubs from Italy, Germany, France and England are interested in taking a punt on the German born 21-year-old.

But according to the Echo Everton and Ferencvaros are now 'nearing a conclusion and confirmation of the signing is possible within 48 hours.'

The local paper also believes that Besic 'expressed a specific desire to link-up with the Toffees' which is obviously great news as the work Roberto Martinez is doing at Goodison Park must be being noticed around Europe.
