90million cash windfall for Everton

Everton are set to receive around 90million for finishing in fifth place during the 2013/14 Premier League season.

Thanks to the new media and television deals, all Premier League clubs will see a bumper pay-day this season.

Even the side who eventually go on to finish bottom of the Premier League table will earn more than champions Manchester United last season.

Everton will receive a combined total of 55million for our equal share of the domestic and overseas broadcast deals, with the domestic broadcast deal enjoying a 60% increase, whilst the overseas deal sees a 70% increase.

Everton then receive an additional minimum of 7.5million for live television appearances. With 16 appearances across Sky Sports and BT Sport, Everton will receive in the region of 12million.

Finally, with 1.2million paid for every place a club finishes in the league, a fifth place finish is worth 19.2million.

Add on an addition 3million odd for the highlights deals for television and internet and Roberto Martinez could have a bumper transfer kitty to spend over the summer.
