£90million cash windfall for Everton
Everton are set to receive around £90million for finishing in fifth place during the 2013/14 Premier League season.
Thanks to the new media and television deals, all Premier League clubs will see a bumper pay-day this season.
Even the side who eventually go on to finish bottom of the Premier League table will earn more than champions Manchester United last season.
Everton will receive a combined total of £55million for our equal share of the domestic and overseas broadcast deals, with the domestic broadcast deal enjoying a 60% increase, whilst the overseas deal sees a 70% increase.
Everton then receive an additional minimum of £7.5million for live television appearances. With 16 appearances across Sky Sports and BT Sport, Everton will receive in the region of £12million.
Finally, with £1.2million paid for every place a club finishes in the league, a fifth place finish is worth £19.2million.
Add on an addition £3million odd for the highlights deals for television and internet and Roberto Martinez could have a bumper transfer kitty to spend over the summer.
