What a Brillante signing he could be

What a Brillante signing he could be

Everton have been linked with a player who would be a newspaper headline writers dream.

Everton along with Italian side Lazio and German side Schalke have been linked with a move for Australian midfielder Josh Brillante.

Obviously I have no idea how you actually pronounce his name, but the spelling is well, brilliant!

The 20-year-old currently plays for Newcastle Jets in Australia's A League, so resident Aussie Rob-EFC may well be able to fill us in a little bit more on what kind of player he is.

His recent performances for the Australian Under-20 side at the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey in July have alerted several clubs across Europe to his potential.

European clubs would also not be hampered by the issue of a work permit as apparently he has Italian heritage so he holds dual citizenship.
