Everton target Barca youngster

20-year-old Barcelona midfielder Rafa Alcântara 'Rafinha' could be a target for Everton.

Rafinha was born in São Paulo, Brazil but made the move to Spain at the age of 13 when he was signed by Barcelona.

He now looks set to make a short-term switch away from Spain, but unfortunately the young Brazilian's immediate future could be dependent on what happens with elder brother Thiago.

Thiago is currently a target for David Moyes at Manchester United and he could well also take Rafinha with him to Old Trafford. Whilst José Mourinho could also try and scupper United's deal with Barcelona and take the pair to Chelsea.

If the young brother ends up out of those proposed deals he could make the move to Goodison Park on a season-long loan deal.

The Attacking midfielder has made 84 appearances for Barcelona 'B' during his fledgling career scoring 20 goals, he has also made three appearances for Barcelona in the Spanish Cup and in Europe but is yet to make his La Liga debut.

He represented Spain at Under-16's, Under-17's and Under-19's before switching to Brazil to play for their Under-20's.
