'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Distin joins Moyes praisers

If David Moyes wasn't such a modest man, he might have been forgiven for getting a big ego after a week where praise has been thrown at him.

After refusing to comment on his own immediate future with his current contract at Everton set to expire at the end of the season, the Everton gaffer has been lavished with praise for the job he has done at Goodison Park.

Publicly both Phil Jagielka and Kevin Mirallas have had kind words to say about their boss and Sylvain Distin has now joined in.

'When you see what he can achieve with the means he has, that is simply amazing.' Distin told France Football magazine when discussing Everton's aims of lifting the FA Cup and qualifying for the UEFA Champions League.

But nice words will not be enough to persuade Moyes to stay, Everton are on a crossroads, on the brink of achieving something great. If that can be achieved then Moyes could stay. But if not we run this risk of watching the team fall apart as players move on and can David Moyes build another team on a shoestring budget or will he be tempted by a new challenge?
