Fellaini caught up in nightclub dispute

As previously reported Marouane Fellaini has missed training with the Belgian squad during this international break.

But it has now transpired that earlier in the day the Belgian had been caught up in what the Daily Express have described as a 'nightclub rumpus'.

Fellaini was kicked out of the Carre nightclub at Willebroek, near Antwerp, at 5.30am on Monday morning, just hours before he sat out training with his national team after complaining about a hip injury.

"Our doorman noticed all of a sudden that there was a fierce discussion. There was no fighting, but emotions were running very high.' The nightclub manager said to the paper.

He continued: "The bouncer spoke with Fellaini, who is a good customer of ours, as well as his friends. He said they should go home, as it was very late. They`d had a good time and there would only be more disputes if they stayed. Thankfully they had the good sense to understand him and they all left."

I have it on good authority that this rumpus began over a spilled pint. Someone allegedly threw a ball at Fellaini and in an instinctive way he stuck out them razor sharp elbows of his knocking into someone's pint in the process, the pint spilled and it all kicked off.
