Fulham make first move for Forren

A trio of Premier League clubs including Everton have recently been keeping a close eye on Molde defender Vegard Forren.

The 24-year-old Norway international has reportedly been watched by Everton, Sunderland and Fulham and it's Fulham who have made the first move with a £4million bid.

Forren had been set to join up with the national squad for a training camp but that was cancelled following Fulham's approach.

'Vegard is not travelling to the national team camp, because we are in the final stages of negotiations with another club. former Manchester United striker and Molde boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed to local media.

He continued: 'It's possible that Vegard will go for a medical check-up and negotiate his personal contract.'

If David Moyes wants to continue his interest in the player then he will have to move quick to scupper the deal as it looks like things are progressing quickly.

Everton are interested in the lad, but I don't think he is the priority at the moment, think Lescott is target one for Moyes and Everton this January.
