Gibson Out For 4 Weeks
As feared Darron Gibson faces an extended period on the sidelines with blues manager David Moyes predicting Gibson to miss 4 weeks.
Having started his Everton career so impressively an increasing amount of injuries has stalled Gibson's progress this season with the Irish star unable to maintain any kind of fitness over a long period.
Everton will at least have star player Fellaini back from suspension now to help with limited options in central midfield having sold Rodwell and not replaced him over the summer and Gibson's numerous injuries.
The absence of Gibson and Fellaini has given short term signing Thomas Hitzlsperger a chance to impress.
Everton's next game is on Wednesday away at Newcastle, followed by an FA Cup tie against Cheltenham.
