Man of the match Vs West Ham

Everton secured a 2-1 win at West Ham in a game remembered more for it's refereeing than the actual football, which perhaps goes some way to explaining why only three players secured a vote in our man of the match poll.

The winner of the vote this week was Leon Osman and Steven Pienaar both tied on 44%.

Osman put in another strong performance in his best season of form since he broke into the side and was the key man in most of the chances Everton created.

Pienaar scored one and set up one and so is an unsurprising choice also, his cross for Victor Anichebe was perfect before he scrambled home the winner.

The other goalscorer Victor Anichebe came third with 11% of the vote, returning from injury the Nigerian striker continued what has been an impressive 2012 for him in terms of goals per minutes.

Any game i have ever seen against a Sam Allerdyce managed team has never been pleasing to the eye. That along with the ref and linesman cockups nearly ducked my day up! However we came through as deserved winners and its fair to say Osman was man of the match. COYtoffees!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree on osman, he's having a great season. If he could only shoot without passing it to the goal keeper as slowly as possible he'd be a perfect CM really.
