Everton Transfer Rumours - Dec 20th

With less than two weeks to go before the January transfer window opens, it's not surprising that the rumours are now heating up.

PSG striker Guillaume Hoarau, who had been linked with a move to Goodison Park before the arrival of Nikica Jelavić is once again reportedly a target for David Moyes.

French radio station Bleu has reported that the 28-year-old striker has not been included in Paris Saint-Germain's New Year training camp in Qatar.

Which of course means he is very out of favour in France, but doesn't mean he's on his way to Everton. It was only last week that we had also been linked with PSG team-mate Kevin Gameiro.

Two links to the same club could be coincidence, or it could mean that we are indeed interested in someone, but as ever there's no real way to tell until something happens.

There are reports of us tracking another player, who is currently playing in France. 27-year-old former Chelsea man Salomon Kalou is available in January according to reports close to Lille who signed him on a free transfer in the summer.

QPR and West Ham are also reportedly linked according to West London Sport.
