Everton linked with double French move

Could David Moyes be lining up two signings for the January transfer window?

At this time of year we are obviously going to get a lot of transfer rumours linked with Everton.

The British media will whip up a storm regarding a number of players either coming in or departing Goodison Park and the majority of them will either not happen or will have been completely untrue to begin with.

Hopefully it's the latter with the latest rumours regarding Chelsea and Fellaini, but then there are almost daily rumours regarding our big Belgian so we thought we would concentrate on a more interesting rumour in the Daily Star.

The tabloid paper believes that Moyes could be lining up moves for Kevin Gameiro and Wissam Ben Yedder after the pair had been monitored in recent months by the clubs scouts.

25-year-old Paris St-Germain striker Gameiro, who is a French International with 8 caps has been dumped to the sidelines following the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly willing to sell, but they will want to try and recoup as much of the £9million they paid Lorient 18 months ago.

It would be quite a big move for Moyes if he was eyeing Gameiro, but 39 goals in 88 appearances for Lorient and Paris St-Germain is a good return and it would certainly add more fire-power to our Champions League challenge.

The other target is apparently French Under-21 international and Toulouse striker Ben Yedder.

The 22-year-old of Tunisian descent has been enjoying a good season to-date and could be available for around £6million.
