Everton to face Cheltenham

Everton to face Cheltenham

It took them extra time, but the League Two side Cheltenham finally prevailed over Conference outfit Hereford United last night.

After 180 minutes of football neither side could be separated, with both games ended 1-1 in normal time.

That meant that an additional 30 minutes and possibly even penalties was required to decide where Everton would be heading in the third round of the FA Cup next month.

But just six minutes before spot kicks were going to be needed substitute Kaid Mohamed headed in the winner.

The game at Whaddon Road has been already been selected for television and will be played on Monday January 7th, with both clubs receiving £135,850 from ESPN.

Everton will receive an allocation of 1,103 tickets and details on how these will be sold are available on evertonfc.com
