The magic of the FA Cup is back

The magic of the FA Cup is back

It's that time of the year again when everyone begins to get excited about the FA Cup.

Modern day football might all be about the Premier League and qualifying for Europe, highlighted by our article earlier today! But some of us are still old romantics and the third round draw of the FA Cup is still a highlight of the season for us traditionalists.

Well Sunday evenings draw threw up some potential FA Cup classics, from the all Premier League ties of Swansea v Arsenal, Southampton v Chelsea and West Ham v Manchester United, through to the non league sides getting their day in the spotlight such as Lincoln or Mansfield hosting Liverpool and our tie, with David Moyes' side heading to the winners of tonights Second Round tie between League Two side Cheltenham Town and Conference side Hereford United.

Everton have never played either side in a competitive match before and its one of those perfect FA Cup ties.

It will be played over the weekend of the 5th January, but could be moved for television.

If you're interested in watching our upcoming opponents then watch ESPN at 7.45pm if you are in the UK.
