Man Utd back in for Baines?

Man Utd back in for Baines?

There's a transfer window coming up and that can only mean one thing! Manchester United wish to sign Everton left back Leighton Baines.

The England International who turns 28 in just over two weeks time has been a long standing target for Sir Alex Ferguson if the British media are to be believed.

Rumours and speculation have linked Baines with a move to Old Trafford for well over a year, with Manchester United openly looking for a replacement for the ageing Patrice Evra.

The fee has always dramatically changed depending on which newspaper you pick up on any certain day, this time it's the Daily Express who have quoted a fee of £11million, or intriguingly £8million plus Evra.

Would Moyes be tempted with a cash plus player deal? Would the wages be a problem? Baines is believed to be on £60,000-a-week would Evra be cheaper?

Would Baines want to leave Goodison Park?
