Cahill seeks Everton return

Tim Cahill fancies a second Everton spell and would like to return to the club on loan in January.

With the Major League Soccer season over at the end of this month, a number of MLS players have made the loan move over to the Premier League in the past.

Robbie Keane has gone out on loan to Aston Villa from Los Angeles Galaxy, while Thierry Henry left New York Red Bulls to return to Arsenal.

Landon Donovan has had a couple of spells on loan from the Galaxy at Everton and Tim Cahill fancies doing the same once the transfer window opens on New Years Day.

'I know I have a lot more to offer. The main thing is that I get to enjoy MLS but I also get the chance of joining back up with the Premier League and playing in the best league in the world. There is no shadow of a doubt, I am eager to come back. he told Daily Express.

But the 33-year-old also understands that his time at Goodison Park may have passed, but he still holds hope a deal can be done.

He continued: Hopefully something can be done [with Everton]. But I have to respect that sometimes the ship has sailed.'

Would you like to see Cahill return to Goodison for a couple of months? Would he even make it into the squad after only 12 games for New York scoring once (according to Wiki)?
