Mirallas targets double figures

Kevin Mirallas enjoys being involved in setting up the Everton goals.

His performances have already set up a number of key moments for Everton so far this season and a number of those had immediately led to goals.

Some statistics even suggest that Mirallas has directly contributed to more goals than Steven Pienaar, an impressive statistic all by its self!

But while the 25-year-old Belgian international has appeared to have taken to life in the Premier League like a duck to water since his £5million move from Greek side Olympiakos in the summer, he would still like to target more goals.

"I think at the moment I have more assists than I have goals, I`ve provided one or two decent passes for my colleagues to score, but at the same time I`m hoping to continue to improve in front of goal and I think 10 goals is a reasonable target for my first season.'

"If I can manage 10 goals that would be decent."
Mirallas told The Echo.

Speaking about his contribution via assets so far he added: "It`s a part of the game I`m not bad at and my delivery is quite good,"

"Sometimes it`s easier to supply the pass for a goal than to add that finishing touch, especially when you have lads in the middle of the quality of Nikica Jelavic and Marouane (Fellaini), It encourages you to put crosses in when you have players like that in the middle."

Fast, and I mean, fast becoming a fan favourite. Having seen him play a few times for Olympiakos, I was over the moon when we signed him especially for 5.4mil. Exactly what we needed for the right hand side, has been brilliant in these last 2 games, cant wait to see him get better and better, the only thing that has been a let down has been his finishing, but that will come eventually, and without doubt would get double digit goals.

This lad has the skill and potential to be an absolute cracker at Everton. Not only is he blessed with major football skills but has a good attitude and work ethic. Against our dearly beloved neighbours from the darkside of the Park, we all know how filthy the tackle from lois sewerage was. Kevin Mirallas not only didn't make a meal of it but also made a great effort to continue playing--something that really stood out and spoke volumes about the guy!!
