Mirallas enjoying new role

It's not often Everton have £5.3million to spend on a player who can't get into the side in their favoured position.

But that's the case for Kevin Mirallas who hasn't yet been able to get a game down the left wing for Everton due to the sensational form of Steven Pienaar and his link up play with Leighton Baines.

But the 24-year-old himself has been in great form since his summer move to the Premier League from Greek side Olympiakos, he's so far netted three times and has shown great link up play with striker Nikica Jelavic.

He's caused David Moyes a real headache settling into life on Merseyside so quickly and Moyes has found him a role on the right hand side of midfield and the Belgium international is happy with how things are currently panning out.

"I spent a lot of the time playing on the left-hand side of attack last year, more attack than midfield. Mirallas told the Post.

He continued: "But we all know that Steven Pienaar is doing a fantastic job down that side. The manager is lining me up on the right side at the moment but I feel very comfortable out there also.

"While things are working out like that, then I couldn`t be happier. I`m very much at ease on that side."

When he is the type of player that really gets the fans on their feet. The lad is confident, no doubt about that, and technically the fans and the players are raving about his technical ability and for once, probably under Moyes, even though he isn't an out and out right winger, he is certainly the best we have had under Moyes with the only competition being Donovan on his loan spells. His link up play with the likes of Pienaar, Jelavic, Fellaini and on the weekend Coleman has been excellent, really cant wait to see him when he is fully settled in and fully firing.
