Odjidja-Ofoe forced to wait

Everton are still awaiting international clearance to sign Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe.

The 23-year-old Club Bruges midfielder, who is an international team-mate of Marouane Fellaini and Kevin Mirallas agreed to a loan move to Goodison Park just before the transfer window closed last week.

The story about the deal went up on the official website at 1.18am that night, some 2 hours after the window closed, so unsurprisingly Everton are having to wait to see if the deal will be approved by FIFA.

The approval process is set to decide Odjidja-Ofoe's fate tomorrow, according to the Belgian side's official website.

A statement on http://clubbrugge.be read: Football's governing body FIFA hasn't made a definitive decision concerning the late loan swoop by Everton FC to land Club's Vadis Odjidja.

It may take until Wednesday before FIFA can reach a decision. Pending that decision, Vadis enters an individual training program in close consultation with Club's sports staff.

Assuming his signing his approved it could prove to be perfect timing following the injury to Gibson.

Fingers crossed the deal is approved, think he might be a hidden gem of Moyes and fills a hole in the starting XI we desperately need, especially since Gibson got injured on the weekend
