'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Everton & Arsenal are both chasing me!

On Wednesday we spoke about the excitement surrounding a potential move for Olympiacos striker Kevin Mirallas.

The 24-year-old Belgian is a long-standing target for Moyes and be available for around £5million.

He was already known to be keen on a move to the Premier League and reports had suggested that discussions between us and the players agent had already got under way.

However now that Arsenal have cashed in on Robin van Persie, with the Dutch striker moving to Manchester United for £24million, it would seem we now have competition from Arsene Wenger for Mirallas.

'Players always have preferences, but we will have to see who wants me the most. I know everything that is going on. I know my agent has spoken to Arsenal and is now talking to David Moyes. Mirallas told the Daily Mail.

He continued: 'It is good that one or two Premier League clubs are interested in me, but there are still two weeks to go before the transfer window shuts. It will be a race to get me, so let`s see who wins. The main thing is, I do feel ready for the Premier League, and I am looking forward to playing there.`

Sounds like someone who is looking for the biggest pay packet, which is never a good sign as our finances barely let us compete, let alone with one of the so-called big clubs in the Premier League.

Although one card we do hold in trying to persuade him that he is better off at Goodison Park is Marouane Fellaini.

'Marouane and I are both French-speaking Belgium players, so that would be an advantage for me, Maybe he can convince me I should become an Everton player.` he concluded.

What a tease.

LOL. As an Arsenal supporter I don't really care about this. I doubt Arsenal will take him with both Campbell and Afobe pounding on the door.

Fingers crossed he chooses Everton, don't see him getting regular football at Arsenal and at Everton there is a nice gap on the wing for him to fill.

Hi Toffees I'm eari rumurs that we(Owls) ae immienty but to sign Ross Barkey on loan have you heard owt at your end Good Luck for the season

I have heard that the Owls are interested and Moyes is sending Barkley out on loan towards the end of the window barring any injuries. Personally would rather see him stay at Everton because he could do the job for us, but obviously Moyes doesn't see it that way, and I guess playing week in week out in the Championship will help him develop. If the Owls do sign him, then you have a seriously good player, he is young, but he is so talented, in his debut he was man of the match in a team that contained the likes of Baines, Jags and Fellaini. Would be a brilliant loan signing for any team in my opinion.
