Everton to miss out on Pienaar?

At the start of the week it looked likely that Joseph Yobo would finally leave Everton for Fenerbahçe, while Pienaar would also complete his proposed move from Spurs to Goodison.

But just a couple of short days later and both deals look like they may have collapsed.

As reported earlier, reports in Turkey have suggested that Yobo has called off his proposed move to Fenerbahçe a deal that Everton probably need to complete to have the funds available to complete a deal with Tottenham for Steven Pienaar.

But despite a summer of negotiations, Everton and Tottenham have apparently still not agreed a fee.

'There are issues - I understand that the two clubs have failed to agree terms.' A source said to be close to the deal told Sky Sports.

Pienaar had been given permission to talk to Everton and the South African has agreed personal terms, but with no deal in place between the two teams Sky Sports now believe that Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland could be set to pinch him from under our noses.

Nope. This whole Yobo fiasco is directly impacting on this situation I would imagine, no Yobo deal, no Pienaar, hopefully both are sorted soon.
