Everton miss out on transfer target
Everton have missed out on one of David Moyes transfer targets of the summer.
Blackburn Rovers winger Junior Hoilett had reportedly held talks regarding a possible move to Goodison Park, but it would seem that the 22-year-old has decided to go elsewhere, with a number of options available to him.
According to Sky Sports he also spoke with Tottenham, Liverpool, Newcastle, QPR and Reading, while Blackburn also made attempts to persuade him to stay at Ewood Park.
But while interest in him in England was fierce, Sky Sports believe he actually favours a move to the Bundesliga.
Hoilett has family in Germany, including his brother Janeil Hoilett who also plays football and Borussia Monchengladbach who have qualified for the Champions League next season, have emerged as the favourites to sign him.
Sky Sports believe a deal could be concluded over the next 24 hours.
