Joao Silva leaves Everton
He was suppose to be the new Pauleta, so he came to Goodison Park with a fair few expectations on his shoulders!
The Portuguese striker joined for around £500,000 after impressing in his native Portugal scoring 14 times in 32 games for Desportivo Aves in the second division.
The then 19-year-old signed a three-year deal to make the move to Everton, but after failing to break into the first team during his first season at Goodison he spent last season out on loan with Uniao Desportiva de Leiria and Vitoria FC.
He clearly wasn't about to make the break through any time soon, so Everton have decided to offload him for an undisclosed fee to Bulgarian side Levski Sofia.
