My future will be settled soon says Yobo
31-year-old Nigerian International Joseph Yobo is on the cusp of returning to Everton for pre-season.
He may well have last pulled on an Everton jersey in May 2010 and is unwanted at Goodison Park, but if a deal with Turkish side Fenerbahçe cannot be met, that is the reality of the situation.
Yobo has spent the last two years on loan at Fenerbahçe and would like to stay there, he has made over 60 appearances for the club winning the Turkish Süper Lig last season and the Turkish Cup this.
The problem is the two clubs cannot agree a fee.
Due to his age Fenerbahçe do not believe he is worth much of a transfer fee, whilst Everton believe with two years remaining on his current contract, that he is.
Fenerbahçe are willing to pay around £1million, while Everton have slowly dropped their asking price from around £5million to £2million.
Will Fenerbahçe and Everton reach a compromise? Well if Yobo's recent interview is anything to go by, then it would seem a deal should be struck soon.
"My career has always been on the rise, I`ve been on loan to Fener where I won the Cup. Fener are a big club with big ambition and I`m happy to have played for them. My future will be settled soon." he told the Echo.
Just getting rid of Yobo and his lucrative contract will be a huge benefit to David Moyes in this summers transfer window, so expect a deal to be completed soon!

Fenerbache are having a laugh, it surely has to be at least 2mil, he has been solid at the back for them, led them to a title and 2nd place. Complete joke, should have been dealt with last season. We need his money desperately

Willy,if he's a donkey then your'e a carrot, the truth of the matter is that he is a decent player but fell out with Moyes. So as mentioned before Fener can flip off and we will sell him on somewhere else

As you can imagine I have been called a lot of things ..... some a lot worse than a carrot ..... but a carrot has no brains and looks a bit like a**** ..... obviously you are thinking of somebody else!!
