There isn't a whole lot to report on at this time of year.
Obviously we take a slight interest in how our Everton lads are doing for their respected countries in the Euro's (not well considering Ireland and Croatia were knocked out last night), the rest of the time it's just getting excited about pure speculation which the majority of the time turns out to be wrong.
So far we've had a possible return to Goodison Park for Pienaar (could still happen), the possible departure of Baines to Manchester United (unlikely to ever happen), the possible departure of Fellaini to Chelsea (unlikely, but you can never tell) and David Moyes recent link to Spurs (fingers crossed that remains unlikely).
But one rumour appears to be coming to a crossroads in the immediate future.
Anyone watching Euro 2012 and in particular Croatia will have realised the great partnership up front between Everton's Nikica Jelavić and Wolfsburg's Mario Mandžukić (that's when they are both selected of course).
Now this partnership led to many of the British papers linking him with a move to Everton.
Unfortunately he's valued at around £7million which probably counts us out, but because his future remains unclear, many in British press believe their could be some kind of link.
Before Croatia's game last night he tried to postpone the transfer talk.
'We'll talk about my future after the tournament,' he said to the press.
He added: 'Every game here is special and I don't want to think about my contract until after the tournament. I want to reach the quarter-finals and play to my best.
'After, we will talk about other things for the future. Many of my colleagues are in a similar position.'
Unfortunately for Mandžukić, Croatia's tournament didn't last long, which now thrusts him back into the transfer rumourmill spotlight.
