Fellaini linked with Real Madrid

While Chelsea have been the main rumour this summer involving Marouane Fellaini, it would seem that Real Madrid could be set to rival them for the Evertonian.

The latest rumour comes via the Metro who have linked Jose Mourinho with the Belgian International.

Previously Real Madrid have been linked with moves for Manchester City midfielder David Silva, but the London based paper believe Real Madrid will switch their attentions to Fellaini.

Not exactly a like-for-like switch in terms of style of play, but the report has also come from Marca so it's likely there could well be something behind this link.

Whether or not their interest will materialise into a bid is of course unknown, but if Chelsea really are interested, then Real Madrid sniffing around could well bump the price tag up from the reported £20 million which is currently floating around.
