Fellaini finally set for Chelsea move?

With Cesc Fàbregas finally completing his move from Arsenal to Barcelona last year, the media have to keep digging up old transfer rumours.

And one favourite that the British media are fond of is Marouane Fellaini moving from Everton to Chelsea.

The tabloid press have been linking the Belgian International with a move for the past couple of years and it isn't a coincidence that this rumour re-surfaces just days after he impressed for Belgium against England in a friendly.

The Daily Mirror believe we would be prepared to sell for around £20million, while they also believe Leighton Baines will be off to Manchester United for £15million, with Cahill also moving on to pastures new in Asia.

With Everton ending last season in such a high it doesn't seem possible that we could be on the cusp of a mass exodus, are the finances that bad that we need to sell our best assets? Or is it just paper talk?

despite the rumour re-emerging, I can't see it myself!

i can't see it either. just does not seem the right type of player for the supposed new direction!

Hope its all a load of ********* myself because if we can start off as we finished last season we can do extremely well. To achieve this though we need to keep fela and bainsey and get pienaar back!

Should be kept at all costs (unless they come in with a ridiculous offer), far too important to us to let go, not often you come across a player that stops the likes of David Silva, Modric and the likes as a defensive mid, then the next give the likes of United and Newcastle all sorts of problems as an attacking mid. With him, I really do think we could push the top 6 (if we sign Pienaar of course)
Rob-EFC
I like him but I think we have a similar player in a certain young Nigerian who dons the jersey no 12

I hope felli stays, he is very settled at everton and is loved by the fans, unfortunately money talks and a suspect a massive bid would not be turned down. 25 mill i think would do it
Bez the blue
Obi Mikel is nothing like Fellaini and no where near his standard Africanblue. Doubt we (united) will be getting Baines either, I'm sure you'll hold onto all your key players this sign while signing a couple more to go with them.

Real Madrid being interested will at least build the price tag up.
