Moyes goes all Posh

David Moyes could be going posh this summer, with reports linking Everton with Peterborough United forward Paul Taylor.

We picked up on this story through our friends at Vital Peterborough, now although they refer to the Everton gaffer as Paul Moyes, they obviously know their own team better than ours, so it does provide an interesting insight into developments between the Championship club and their leading scorer.

Now the British national press are the ones who have come up with the link, suggesting a possible £2million move from Everton over the summer, but why this deal could come about is interesting.

According to our Vital friends, Taylor joined Posh from Anderlecht during the 2010/11 and last season scored 12 goals in 38 League games.

He was offered a new four-year-deal at Posh, which would've made him their highest paid player, but he rejected the offer.

As a result, he was put on the transfer list as part of their club's apparent no nonsense policy.

Now he does also have interest from Reading, West Brom and Ipswich, but he does appear to be a possible target in our price range, so this could be an interesting one to keep an eye on.

Champion Willy here ..... Now this is the type of player you Toffeemen should be buying. Although probably very average he has the virtue of being cheap... Like the Argentinian bull, now returned to the PampAs and Donovan now returned to the States. Sorry boys but that is the reality ... Still we all can remember the four all.....great performance.

Funny how we get these stories keep cropping up they're almost as repetitive as the trolls we get on our site!! As regards Paul Taylor though-- He looks a cracking player who gets a good amount of goals per shot ratio but whether or not he'd be good enough at the soccer school of science is a different story.

I think I aint going to bother anymore, Pienaar is our number 1 priority, it is no surprise, so until we have him singed, sealed and delivered, then I might pay attention to our transfer targets, but as of right now, I would imagine, every bit of money Bill can find will be going into the Stevie P fund.
