Man of the Match VS Blackpool

And the winner is... Drenthe!!!

The loan star wins our vote with 35% becoming the first player other than Steven Pienaar to win one of our man of the match polls this month.

Second place in our vote with 30% was Fellaini, another dominating performance by the Belgian was key to progress in the cup.

Third place went to Denis Stracqualursi with 11% of the vote, it was another impressive display by the striker.

Normally our player of the month polls are the winners of the man of the match votes, but because of a dominant month by Steven Pienaar in our polls that would be impractical. So this month the vote includes all the players who secured a top 3 place in our man of the match polls. Although even this isn't a long list with Fellaini and Stracqualursi finishing in the top 3 every game.

The contenders this month are Pienaar, Drenthe, Fellaini and Stracqualursi.

For player of the month for me would be 1. Pienaar, 2. Stracqualursi, 3. Fellaini.

Yeh probably agree with Mike. I mean every game Pienaar has played in since he joined, to me, he was Man of the Match in all of them.

Most of the players put in a good shift against blackpool, but fellaini and drenthe were the stand outs for me
