Moyes thankful for support

With David Moyes practically managing Everton with one hand tied behind his back, many in the British media might wonder if Moyes might have itchy feet.

If the right job came along would the Scot leave Goodison Park for a new challenge?

Well we will ultimately have to wait and see, but for now it would seem that Moyes remains just as motivated as ever in the Everton hot-seat with the new challenges of running a financially crippled Premier League team.

"There are times when you think to yourself 'this is tough', but my job when I came was tough. When I took the club over it was a tough job. I was never told it would be rosy. Moyes told the Daily Post.

But while the challenges at Goodison Park might have changed in recent seasons, Moyes is clearly thankful that he has continued to gain the support of the fans: "You well know, if you don't get the supporters to get behind you, it makes your job tougher, makes your decision-making tougher and I'm really thankful for the Everton family who've backed me all the way.

"At the end of the day, if you are a fan, you support your club whether it's good or bad and you hope your time will come when you are the ones at the top of the league and parading the trophy."

lets be honest Davie has had his fair share of knockers and doubters as well as those who support him. My own opinion of him is split down the middle-everyone knows under the circumstances (The suits`poor administration) he has managed extremely well.Maybe because of the clubs financial unrest, players have become unsettled and a lack of confidence has ran through the club most of this season. However i get a feeling Mr Moyes might just get our team to produce some good football and who knows maybe a brilliant cup run. So in conclusion for me the scales tip in his favor but he has got to put things straight to the board!

If 'Arry leaves for England, think Moyes might have his eye on the Spuds job, wouldnt surprise me, they have always tried to poach Everton targets, only makes sense they poach Moyes. Although, never underestimate the no pressure part of his job, Moyes, is one of a few (probably Wenger and Ferguson) managers that have absolutely no pressure, dont think BK would ever sack Moyes because of their relationship and not to mention Moyes is very highly paid.
