Vaughan back with Everton

James Vaughan is now back with Everton after his loan spell at Crystal Palace ended this week.

Vaughan had a decent 3-month loan spell in the Championship, scoring 5 goals in 14 games.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a number of various permanent moves away from Goodison Park after impressing on loan, but could yet return to Palace on loan when the transfer window re-opens.

'James Vaughan is going to be badly missed. We were trying to bring in a striker before the deadline last month but we weren't able to do that.' Crystal Palace boss George Burley told the official site.

He added: 'There is a chance we could bring him back in January but that's between the clubs and James himself. I've had a chat with him.'

With ourselves lacking goals, before we shuffle him back out the door perhaps we should give him the odd run out to see whether he can take his goal scoring form from the Championship into the Premier League?

It would be nice to give him a final chance considering the potential he has shown previously.
