Heitinga to miss Spurs match

John Heitinga is out of Everton's match against Tottenham on Sunday.

Heitinga was already set to miss the UEFA Europa League game against AEK Athens on Wednesday as he is ineligible for Europe.

But now he will miss the Premier League fixture due to suspension after picking up five yellow cards.

His absence will be a big loss as his consistent performances have been one of a few positives from recent games!

Will be a big miss, he's becoming a key player for us over the last few weeks even out of position. With Rodwell and Neville injured, to then have our only other DM suspended and ineligible for the next two games is rotten luck.

will he be missed? put it this way im glad he isnt playing against us says it all really

He'll be badly missed he's been our best player in 3 of our last 4 matches in my opinion

He's the only player we have at the minute who is composed in a defensive position. Yobo hops around like a spastic ferret meaning that puts everyone else on edge. Distin started well but has probably developed some sort of nerve related disorder due to Yobo's unpredictability. This has in turn effected Baines who's a shadow of the player he was last year.
Toffee Joe
I love how you manage to lead it all back to Yobo when everyone else's form is bad lol. He's gotten used to having Jags and Nev organising him, it's probably hard for him to try and take the lead after he's been a shadow figure in the dressing room for so long.
EvertonMike
So everything comes back to Yobo? Interesting theory Joe! ;)
Yak
I haven't liked Yobo for a good few years now. I don't think he's got any worse without Nev and Jags. They just aren't there to bail him out all the time, therefore his *****ness has come shining through. I agree he's no natural leader, but as a senior pro and international defender, he should be a lot more of a leader on the pitch. He just seems to have got a lot more stupid in recent years. He's always been unpredictable, but this year he's taken it to another level. Look at the clearance he attempted for the *****es 2nd goal. Why the ***** didn't he chest it. He would have had top be stretch armstrong to have got his leg to that. Fair enough, their first he couldn't have done much about but it was a weak leg thrown unconvincingly at the ball. You either leave it, which he should have done, or *****ing smash it into orbit, which he didn't do. Anyway, rant over. Get him to the ACON and forget about him.
Toffee Joe
Eep the ACoN... I forgot about that >.<
